Basements and underground garages leakage have become a common problem of the quality of a building, and have brought great harm to the safety of the structure of the basement, and it have a serious impact on the durability of the underground construction. Most of the existing basement sealing material combines badly with the concrete and they are generally harm to the environment.Microbial remediation of concrete technology is an environmentally friendly repair method, which uses the sediments to seal concrete cracks. It have been applied in many projects in other countries, but not in our country. In this paper, we use the microorganisms and seepage weel to seal the leakages of an underground garage in Jinan. The contents of this paper include the following aspects:1, Before the microbial remediation experiment, we identified the leakages of the underground garage and analyzed the reasons the leakage of the underground garage.2, By using the logging pipe, we observe and investigate the hydrogeology of the underground garage, and know the underwater level’s change law. Using variable water head method,we measured the coefficient of permeability of the soil around the underground garage.3, Exclude the residence water around the underground garage by seepage wells up. The result shows that seepage wells can reduce the water content around the underground garage.Using the method of drilling holes in the underground garage exterior wall can directly discharged the water in the soil. This method achieved effects. 4, In the laboratory, we cooked potato liquid silt and improved the sand permeability. The result showed that the potato liquid can reduce the permeability of the sand in oxygen-free and wet environment.5, We put potato liquid into the external soil for improving the underground garage of soil permeability. The results show that potato liquid can reduce soil permeability to protect the outside concrete wall.6, We grout bacterial into the groove to study the effectiveness of the use of the filling groove by comparing the leakage situation before and after the perfusion bacteria for the horizontal cracks. The results show that using filling groove for providing a certain pressure, the bacteria calcium carbonate can flow automatically into the horizontal cracks. Aiming at vertical concrete cracks, drilling holes for grouting the microbial method was adopted. The contrast before and after the grouting seepage in the fracture situation, prove the effectiveness of drilling perfusion bacteria to block. We adopt the method of coating bacteria and nutrient on the concrete surface and study this method effectiveness. This project not only applied microbial plugging technology in actual engineering, but also combined "sealing" and "displacement" methods It achieved good effects and provided reference for similar projects.
