This article uses warm-mix modifiers, waste plastics composite modified to compound modification asphalt and asphalt mixtures, sought to obtain an energy-saving and environmental protection, and rut resistance ability of bituminous pavement materials.Currently, mostly high-grade Highway pavement dominated by asphalt pavement, asphalt pavement as a seamless and continuous road, Having lots of advantages such as driving comfort, low noise and easy to maintain. It’s always the main type of roads in developed countries.and is also our main form of high-grade roads in our country.However, the asphalt pavement in our country have some disadvantages like high-temperature rutting and low-temperature cracking, usually using polymer-modified asphalt to solve the above problems, to extending the life of asphalt pavement.Using melting point130℃-150℃engineering plastics mixing with warm-mix additives and asphalt mixture, formation a asphalt concrete pavement material can not only saving energy but also resistance of rutting.Those materials have some characteristic like using warm mix asphalt, aggregate modifier and a engineering plastics rubber as materials, when warm up the aggregates to160℃, put them into the mixer, and then joined the plastics dry mix, add145℃hot melt asphalt and warm-mix modifier-mixing, then access the warm-mix plastic modified asphalt mixtures.Engineering plastic particles based on the worn out rubber and plastic polymer materials,join cracked wax and reinforcement libers, as well as compatible agent, through a special extrusion process to make it. Using RPPW and Evotherm as the warm-mix agent. By increased aggregate surface adhesive, reinforced, granular fill and asphalt modification,so that warm-mix of plastic composite materials can improve overall performance.Chapter Ⅱ to chapter Ⅲ of this article mainly deals with plastic recycling and comprehensive utilization and warm-mix asphalt mixtures performance research of modified plastics, the fourth chapter focuses on the applications of warm-mix plastic modified asphalt mixture in Dongguan Highway, and using finite element method for composite pavement mechanical analysis and research.By study on the road performance of new materials warm-mix plastic modification, finding out that the marshall stability, high temperature stability, resistance to rutting has significantly improved, while in energy saving and emission reduction has obvious effectiveness, its can reduce harmful gas emissions of hot-mix asphalt construction. Compared to SBS modified asphalt mixture,each tonnes of warm-mix plastic modified asphalt mixture can not only saving materials savings, but also increase the pavement rutting resistance.Warm-mix plastic modified asphalt can brought great economic benefits to the state and society and made a significant contribution to environmental protection.
