| LiFePO4is a very hopeful positive electrode material for further lithium-ion batteries materials, because of abundance of raw materials, high theoretical capacity, stable structure, excellent cycling performance and pollution-free. A simple one-step co-precipitation process and solvothermal method were carried out to synthesize nanoscale LiFePO4/C composites. The detailed information of the paper is summarized as follows:1. A one-step co-precipitation process with ethylene glycol in aqueous solution was carried out to provide a convenient and economic route for the synthesis of nanoscale LiFePO4/C composites with uniform carbon coating and excellent electrochemical performance. It can be easily scaled up for commercialization.2. A simple template-free, low-temperature solvothermal method is developed for the synthesis of multi-morphous LiFePO4nanoparticles as well as carbon-coated LiFePO4composites. Each structure consists of LiFePO4nano-particles self-assembled. To get uniform carbon coating, the materials are subjected to further temperature treatment (250℃,650℃) under an inert atmosphere. |
