Lubricant station is the special lubrication equipment providing lubricationmedium for all kinds of mechanical equipment such as Large-scale Reducer, motor,water injection pump, and reciprocating compressor etc. By virtue of its unique pressurefuel supply characteristics, it is widely used in petrochemical, electric power, metallurgy,mining and other industries. And it plays an important role in all kinds of mechanicalequipment lubrication. With the development of industry and technology, various kindsof high-grade equipment are used more and more widely, especially the equipmentrequirements that used lubrication system for petrochemical industry, further technicalrequirements on lubricant station products continuously would be improved. Thereforeduring the design for the pipeline system of lubricant station, the flow rate of hydraulicmedium within the pipeline and the pressure loss associated with it must be attachedimportance as well as its compressive strength. XYZ lubricant station, which is used toprovide lubricant for4M12-78/34oxygen compressor, is researched as the researchobject. Using numerical simulation method, the overall study and the related parametersoptimization analysis are carried, which provide certain theoretical value and practicalapplication significance to improve the lubrications’ efficiency and technology ofdesigning and manufacturing of new products.In order to grasp the inner flow characteristic and explore related parametersoptimization scheme, the theoretical research is done based on the basic equations offluid mechanics and numerical simulation of CFD. The research work is shown in thefollowing four aspects:1. Domestic and foreign research achievements about lubricant lubricationequipment, relevant fluid theory, and research method of flow field are summarized.2. Structural parameter optimization model is proposed by analyzing pipeparameter and verified by the corresponding computational fluid mechanics model,which proved the feasibility of the parameter optimization design.3. According to flow characteristic of the cut-off valve in pipeline system, themathematical model is established to represent the relations between the opening andpressure loss. It avoids researching complex structure of the valve internal and helps to grasp flow characteristics of fluid in the whole pipeline system.4. Optimize the velocity in pipe of lubricant station system. By changing thepipelines’ diameter or the oil’s velocity, corresponding velocity, pressure, and pressuredrop are obtained, and then adopting v/Δp (comprehensive evaluation index) whichshows the lubrication efficiency of pipeline system, the best velocity that has a highercomprehensive performance is found.
