Multi-spectral imaging detection is a new generation of photoelectric detectingtechnique, which use imaging spectrometer to detect the target. Imaging spectrometer canget both spatial and spectral information of the object together and be used in remotesensing for land resources investigation, agriculture, forestry and environmental detection.Thermal infrared system catches “thermal image” of the target, records the infraredradiation information. After adding the spectral information, it can be applied to landsurface temperature detection, urban heat analysis, rocks recognition, especiallycamouflage recognition and underwater target detection. In the paper,the spectroscopicsystem of long wave imaging spectrometer is designed based on Dyson relay,which isconcentric and it is compact, inherently low aberration, can achieve excellent imagingquality and high resolution. At the same time the small volume can use entire cryocooling,achieve high signal noise ratio.In the first, the significance of this issue is introduced and the development of Dysonspectroscopic imaging layout and long-wave imaging spectrometer are introduced.In the second chapter, the structure and working principle of Dyson imagingspectrometer are introduced. And the basic parameters of its optical system are determinedaccording to application requirementsIn the third chapter, according to the index requirements from the second chapter andapplication requirements, the design of the improved spectroscopic system is given. Andthen, the result of fore optics of the imaging spectrometer is given. At last, the result of theoptimized entire system and its imaging quality evaluation are given.In the fourth chapter, the stray lights source is described. The most radiation of long-wave infrared system is internal stray radiation. It’s importance to control that. Then,mechanical structure of the imaging spectrometer is design. And the Thermal radiation ofthe optical mechanical system is analyzed. At last, the result of radiation suppression usedentire cryocooling is given.In the fifth chapter, the principle and method of tolerance analysis are introduced; thetolerance of the designed system is analyzed and distributed optimally for facilitating itsfabrication.In the last chapter, the work and its innovation points are concluded and furtherresearches prospected. Cryogenic optics adjustment of thermal imaging spectrometer isdiscussed.
