Electric bike because of its advantages zero-emissions, low noise, the advantagesbecame today’s main means of transportation, and the momentum of development hascaused. Electric bicycle controller, which is the core of the management and control ofelectric bicycle, has been widely used in the field, becoming a hot spot of research., sokeeping up with research on the direction of such technologies become a trend. Thisproject aimed at learning that skill, and between the design and implementation of a24V~48V power of electric bicycle controller, Balancing the cost and the performancerequirements I chose the MC9S08AW60chip produced by the company of freescale for themaster control chip. I do the design and research as follows:(I) I review the development trend of the electric bicycle, as well as the reasons whynon-inductive three-phase brushless DC motor is widely used in the field of electric drive.I do explore the control methods of non-inductive three-phase brushless dc motor withoutposition sensor.(II) According to the characteristics of the main control chip MC9S08AW60andrunning process of the motor, I design the control strategy of the controller: usingback-EMF zero test to detect the position of the rotor of the motor; Using bypass resistor todetect the current indirectly.I design the speed regulating system as speed and currentdouble closed-loop control so as to ensure the accuracy of speed adjustment and responsespeed; Developing the motor start design scheme to make the electric bicycle startadaptively smooth under different load cases.(III) In accordance with the embedded hardware components and softwarecomponents, I design the hardware of the controller module component, software functionmodule and algorithms of controller components related. Software reliability designproblems are discussed.(IV)Through the controller running test from zero load and load of the actual, I try toprove the reliability of the electric vehicle, and the test method and process in detail. This study of electric bicycle controller not only has good running performance, thecharacteristics of high reliability, and has realized the adaptive start, software and hardwaredouble protection function. This research provides a certain basis for the follow-upresearch work.
