This is a paper about the identity of the public interface of the city commercial buildingcomplex space. Through this entry point-urban public interface space-to research commercialcomplex, emphatically analyzed the importance of its identifiable in urban design andresearch value.Urban commercial building complex is a product of the city’s high-density development,as a miniature of the city, urban commercial complex is not only able to save the investmentof public facilities, improve the utilization of land, and can provide and integrate into theurban public space, urban development is of great significance and value. With the increased focus on social values, public interest, and cultural life of the factors, the mode of life of the people has also changed. Urban public space is paid more and moreattention by people. Public interface space of the concept is put forward, and once againaroused our attention to connection between urban space and architectural space, bothfunction and form has a problem, need to cooperate with each other, coordinate with eachother. Modern city construction is a complex systems engineering, and Public interface spacewhich as connected to the natural space and architectural space link has adjustment andremedy functions to the research and design of function adjustment and compensate, at thesame time, it is also play an important role in the health of urban sustainable development.Through theoretical analysis and field research in Urumqi, tried to put forward theconstruction of the commercial complex the public interface space design strategy and designprinciples, and ultimately summed specific, actionable design method, designed to provide aneffective and viable for the future interface space reference.
