OnboardATP system is a safety-critical system which plays the important role of ensuringthe safe operation of trains. Once the failure appears, security accidents and heavy losses would be resulted in. So it’s important to fully consider all the possible impact of the error status, and should take appropriate protective treatmentfor the possible failure.In order to ensure the security of the system, it’s necessary totest validation the development of on-board ATP safety system, this paper combines thefault injection and computer simulation technology, based on the new requirementsfor the safety testing of the test system. And the paper has completed the validation of on-board ATP safety protection functionin the laboratory environment, through the fault injection simulation test platform to realize the fault injection system test.Firstly, the paper has used the HAZOP analysis method to find the possible hazards in the system, and has establishedthe hazard log table;through further analysis of the key nodes and significant hazard, clear the failure reasonsthrough the establishment of corresponding FTA fault tree model; then the paper has traversed thefault tree branches, in combination with the<F, A, R, M> failure case set model, and the establishment of the model is expatiated in detail, finally form the corresponding fault injection cases, which can pave the wayfor the subsequent test work.Based on the above test case, the paper has analyzed the onboard ATP system. according to the specific needs of the test, it has analyzedthe fault injection method and trigger modesuited to the characteristics of the ATP system; the paper established the train operation simulation model, designed the fault injection simulation test platform,detailed the main functions of the platform and key technology; Finally, according to the test purposes, the paper has screened the test cases which consistent with the test, used of the test platform to introduce the fault information to the target system, and the paper has realized the fault injection test of the on-board ATP system, collected the test data, and has analyzedthe test results.
