With excellent carrying capacity and seismic behavior, reinforced concrete shear wall structure is widely used in high-rise buildings. Coupled shear wall structure, a big embranchment of shear wall structure with coupling beams as the link of wall legs, have excellent lateral resisting ability under the earthquake action and the wind load. In high-rise building, in order to guarantee enough lateral stiffness or meet the functional requirements of the building, it often use coupling beam with low span-depth ratio. Existing experimental studies and earthquake disaster show, common reinforcement coupling beam with low span-depth ratio occurs generally shear destruction, thus turn the coupled shear wall into unattached walls and reduce stiffness of the structure extremely.Steel fiber concrete has got social recognition by its excellent property of ductility and the property of energy absorption and dissipation, and has been widely used in transportation, bridge, and civil engineering. Existing experimental studies show that the steel fiber in the coupling beams and shear walls limit the development of cracks and improve the seismic performance of the structure. In this paper, three coupled shear walls with different ratio of steel fiber have been tested by low cycle reverse. In order to study the seismic performance of coupled shear walls with steel fiber, this paper mainly completed the following job:Three coupled shear walls with different ratio of steel fiber were produced. Experimental unit was designed to match the size of the test pieces and fulfills the actual situation,The horizontal cyclic loading test, distribution and development of concrete crack were recorded in detail, was taken on three coupled shear walls with0.1axial compression ratio. The result showed that steel fiber caused obvious influence on distribution and development of cracks, and a notable one to the earthquake resistant behavior to the structure. The result of the different steel fiber ratio in the coupled shear walls on the bearing capacity, ductility and the ability of seismic energy dissipation was analyse deeply. And it showed that the bearing capacity, ductility, behavior of dissipation seismic energy and the anti-crack performance of the coupled shear walls was generally improved with the concrete reinforced by steel fibers, the stiffness degeneration was also reduced at a certain degree.
