The Application And Research Of The Fault Tree Analysis Technology In Submersible Electric Motor And Protector’s Fault Diagnosis

The lifetime of electric submersible pump unit is the main factor affecting the period ofelectric pump unit. How to diagnosis the failure of the electric submersible pump is animportant topic, which enhances the economic efficiency of oil field production. In thispaper we mainly analyze the fault of electrical motor and electric motor protector with faulttree analysis, draw the fault tree. we also use the algorithms for qualitative and quantitativeanalysis of fault tree,obtain cut sets of fault tree and calculate the probability of top eventand importance of every basic event. we can make the accurate judgment promptly with thefault tree analysis technology in the earlier period which failure occurs, we also can distinctthe weakness of the failure, discover the reason and the method how to remove thefailure.In this way we can reduce the blindness of repairs and enhance the efficiency and thesecurity.
