The design and research on the joints of the concrete filled columns is significant to the spread and use of the structures of concrete filled columns. The idea of strength of joint and weakness of the construction in the structure design is the evidence to the important status of joints in the structures. As for the concrete filled columns structures, the design and research of the joints is also important.The concrete filled columns joints have several different forms. There are some new forms of joints with the different structures.The concrete filled columns to beam joints with penetration components are new kind of joints. The main constitution is welding the bracket to the steel tubes, the penetration components, that is the bars, will be welded to the flange of the bracket, at the same time, they will be welded to the steel tubes with the method of weld all around. Then the steel beam will be connected to the bracket. This kind of joints has the features of easy constructions, explicit path to transmit the force, moment and shear, saving the materials.The thesis has made a deeper and particularity research base on the doctor’s paper. In the way of numerical method, chose the reasonable finite analysis software (ABAQUS), the concrete filled columns to beam joints with penetration components are analyses. The paper first introduces the basic theory of core concrete and the relative curve of strain and stress in the numerical analysis. Then simulate the joints under the cyclic loading. The control method of loading is the displacement control.In the numerical analysis, there five significant factors are included. That is the strength of core concrete, the ratio of axial compression stress to strength, the strength, the diameter and the quantity of the bars. Each factor has four different levels. That makes16models to analysis these factors to the performance of the joints.As the result of the analysis, we get the typical failure of the joints, and analysis the reason with the relative factors, and we also get the hysteretic curve of the joint and analysis the performance of the joints with these factors.
