Concrete single span frame structure because of its redundancy is not enough, thespecification stated in the scope of its application. And through additional support, caneffectively improve the performance of the original structure. However, tradition is increasingsupport cross past or single diagonal center support, but such support in the seismicperformance is unsatisfactory, mainly because it prone to compression buckling under theaction of the earthquake damage, even cause it won’t play a proper role in the earthquake. Inorder to improve the center support in seismic performance, foreign scientists invented acompression buckling not easily support in earthquake, and named the Buekling a Restraineda Braces, namely constrained buckling. The support not only in the bar when the tension willonly yield without buckling, and yield during compression can do it but not buckling, alsowon’t because the buckling and the secondary bending moment to accelerate the destructionof the support. This makes the support under the seismic action, can in under the action ofminor earthquakes to provide lateral stiffness to the original structure, and can in under theaction of consumption and strong earthquakes in the seismic energy, so as to ensure the safetyof the original structure.It can be seen that additional constraint buckling support for single span frame structurein seismic strengthening high-intensity area has practical significance. This article mainly toadopt constrained buckling support for seismic strengthening of single span frame structureseismic performance research, to determine its reliability and rationality. In this paper, themain work are:(1) the combination of related standards and engineering examples, using theoriginal single span constrained buckling support framework for seismic strengthening design,on the basis of using the SAP2000software on the elastic analysis and dynamic elastic-plastictime history analysis to test the additional constraints after buckling support structure seismicperformance;(2) in this paper, buckling to support additional constraints and additionalxinjiang region technology is relatively mature and with relatively more viscous dampers are compared, concluded the advantages and disadvantages of both on the seismic performance,hoping that constrained buckling support in xinjiang region scope, in order to the futuredesign of constrained buckling of xinjiang region support and provide reference andreference.
