As a new retaining structures for the landslide, micropile is a type of small diameter bored pile of which the diameter is between100and300mm. Compared with the traditional retaining structures, the micro pile is characterized with fast construction, safety and reliability, less cost, small perturbance, well effect and wide applicability. In practical projects, it Prefers the experiential theory rather than then incomplete calculation theory. The landslide reinforcement theory of micro pile is at an early stage, which seriously hampered the promotion and Application of the structure. As to expansive soil cut slope characteristics:the traction multiple slide; the landslide shallow, the gentle slide bed, proposed micro pile group as strengthening expansive soil slope retaining structures. The main work and conclusions are as follows:(1)By geological survey statistics and analysis, summarize the expansive soil slope failure characteristics and mechanism.(2) According to the micro pile mechanism analysis, damage control factor of analysis, put forward that the role of its strengthening expansive soil slope mainly for the transformation of the geological body pile-soil composite structure skid structure. Damage control factor of micro-pile is bending or pullout.(3)Systematically expounded calculation methods for the micro pile group reinforcement theory of expansive soil slope and design requirements.(4)The use of numerical simulation, simulated the stress and strain variation regular pattern of expansive soil slope in micro-pile retaining conditions, indicating that the its reinforcement validity. The results show that:the micro-piles, as a flexible support system in expansive soil slope reinforcement, has better adaptability, and positive significance for the construction and design of the micro-pile reinforcing the expansion soil landslide in the future.
