With the rapid development of our national economy, the requirements of railway transport capacity and technical level is getting higher and higher. According to the national railway policies and the Ministry of Railways’s overall arrangements of technology developments, there would not only to maintain the electrify construction about the major long-distance railways, but also to do some technological innovations about the existing electrify railways, such as overhaul or replacement of equipments, speed-up and expand abilities, even need to subjoin the2nd or3rd rainways, etc. While the contact line is just the main targets about the innovations. At the same time, due to changes in the geological environments belongs to the existing lines, such as earthquakes, river diversion, landslides, one of the safety improvements in the the original lines and equipments, is the new shed tunnel construction. This thesis discusses the Chengdu-Kunming line "8.30Earthquake Restoration Project "(contact line), with K795+99-K821+130Huapengzi to Hongjiang section’s new shed tunnel contact line construction process and security process. Analyzing how to do contact line innovation constrction in the existing railway, and how to ensure that the duration of the shed tunnel and traffic safety with the improve construction organization and effective construction program.
