The large amounts of regenerative energy was produced when the urban rail vehicle regenerative braking. In order to make use of regenerative braking energy effectively,the energy storage devices in recent years has rapidly developed in the urban rail transit, the supercapacitor has been the rapidly developed and applicated as the excellent performance of the energy storage element. The supercapacitor energy storage system in urban rail transit was studied in the thesis,that would provide technical support for the development of the energy storage device.The article introduces the working principle and characteristics of the super-capacitor firstly, and the structure and the parameters of the super-capacitor energy storage system were designed. The structure of the super-capacitor energy storage system includes super-capacitor bank designing and the technology of bidirectional DC/DC converter. In order to reduce the energy loss of high-frequency switching of the energy storage device switch, this paper introduces a soft-switching technology of inductor current crosses zero.The design of parameters include the main parameters such as the switching devices, inductor, capacity and arrangement of the capacitor bank,the specific values of main parameters was determined by Guangzhou Metro Line train data, and the rationality and validity of designer of the structure was verified by simulation.The small-signal dynamic model of energy storage system was established by state space average method and the performance of their work was analyzed at the same time, the target voltage was supervised through negative feedback compensation system and the system control program is given ultimately.The specific set of parameters was determined based on prototype parameters for system control to ensure that the system response speed and stability.The method of Energetic Macroscopic Representation(EMR) was introduced,which was a graphical modeling tool used to obtain the model of urban rail transit of the super-capacitor energy storage system and the maximum energy control method of the system by the means of "inversion principle", which was convenient to the design of the system control strategy. The EMR model mainly includes two parts:the super capacitor energy storage system model and the traction drive model, the MCS model includes the energy storage system control structure and the motion-driven control structure.The control structure of the controller and control strategy were designed under the maximum control systems (MCS). At last, the simulation model of the urban rail transit of super-capacitor energy storage system was created on the platform of Matlab/Simulink and the simulation parameters of each model was designed. The simulation results shows the system control structure and control strategy were accurately and the parameters determined was reasonable,at the same time, The method of Energetic Macroscopic Representation(EMR) has the advantage for modeling of urban rail traction.
