The energy is people’s survival and the material, but with the development of society, the energy problem is more and more serious and outstanding. Global countries take saving energy as one of the basic state policy. The construction industry is a huge system, thus building energy saving in energy saving work plays a significant role. How to increase building envelop thermal insulation performance and reduce energy losses and building energy efficiency is an important research topic.Exterior insulation is a measure to increase the performance of thermal insulation of building, and it is used widely in the new building at present. But in reality exterior insulation materials and corresponding insulation system are very much, and different heat insulating material and system will directly affect the building cost and heat preservation effect. So, which kind of insulation material and thermal insulation system in life cycle has economic optimality for our construction industry making guidance of exterior wall thermal insulation work, so as to better and more effective to energy saving, is a problem that we urgently need to solve. This paper mainly studies the common zhengzhou area and the new five kinds of insulation system:EPS plastered outer wall heat preservation system, XPS plastered outer wall heat preservation system, powder polystyrene a exterior insulation system, foam cement exterior insulation system and modified phenolic insulation plastered outer wall insulation system. Through the market survey way, we get their corresponding price, set up cost and the thickness of the function model is obtained, the thermal insulation system of the thermal insulation layer thickness of the economy. Finally, using the net annual value index, the thickness of the insulating layer on the economy of the heat preservation system in the whole life cycle in economic evaluation, finally draw the conclusion.This paper studies the conclusion:As a representative of the cold region five kinds of insulation system of thermal insulation layer thickness of the economy; The insulation system in the life cycle of the economy with and decision research.
