With the repaid development of prestressed concrete continuous rigid frame bridge, its span length continues to increase and construction difficulty also increases. Construction control is an important measure to keep the alignment and structural internal force of building bridges in accordance with the design requirements. Based on the key project-Baishuiyu Bridge of Sanxi expressway, the thesis researches the application of construction control theory of long-span continuous rigid frame bridges in engineering. The main contents are as follows.(1) This paper gives a conclusion about the development history of the long span continuous rigid-frame bridge and its structural features, construction methods and development trends by referring a lot of literature. It elaborates the important role of construction control in the construction of long-span continuous rigid frame bridges. The development history and current situation of construction control at home and abroad have been summarized in this paper, as well as its main content.(2) Based on the project of Baishuiyu Bridge, the finite element analysis model has been established by using finite element software Midas/Civil. Through simulating and analyzing the whole construction process of the bridge, the stresses and deformation value of the bridge in different construction stages are calculate. The calculated results are used as the theory data in this construction control.(3) Methods to determine the vertical mold elevation of continuous rigid frame bridges have been discussed. Making a detailed analysis of the error exists in the measured strain data of the main beam. The true stress value is finally obtained by correction of the measured strain data.(4) The GM(1,1) prediction model of main bridge has been established based on the gray system theory to predict the development of the construction process of the main beam stress.The Baishuiyu Bridge has been successfully completed. Part of the research results in this paper have been applied and verified in the bridge construction. The on-site construction control has obtained good results. The alignment of the bridge basically meets the theory linear. The closure error meets the specification requirements, and the stress state meets the design requirements.
