Study On The Evolution Process And The Drive Mechanism Of Urban Residential Space In Xinxiang City

Urban residential space is an important part of urban social space. Since1990s, influenced by economic globalization and informationization, and following the rapid advance of the urbanization, the economic system and the social structure go through a transition period. Therefore, urban spatial structure enters a transformation period that recombinate and change, and urban residential space presents the phenomenon of reconstructing and segregation. Study on urban residential space is one of academia focuses at present, because it concerns public basic need, and it seems more distinct and more outstanding under the background of development idea of "people-oriented, harmonious society". This paper will set about studying urban residential space in Xinxiang city, and it is located in the central region of our country,representing a batch of key inland cities in the fast development, so the adjustment and optimization of urban spatial structure have a great meaning for promoting urbanization process of central region in China. Study on urban residential space in Xinxiang city is still rare, and a systematic theory research on it is more rare at present. Exactly based on like this, this paper sets out from theory analysis and positive research, and makes adetail explaining about urban residential space development course in Xinxiang city,its current situation characteristic, its drive mechanism and its development trend in the future, looking forward to offer theory support and policy recommendations for successful implement of the space planning and construction in Xinxiang city,promoting the urbanization process of Henan Province, and realizing the emergence of central region in China.First of all, this paper defines the relevant concepts of urban residential space, and reviews the current situation of theory research on it both at home and abroad. From this analysis, the paper finds that foreign research has already set up comparatively complete theoretical system regarding urban residential space, and formed different theory schools, but the relevant research on it in China is still at the starting stage. In urban living space three classical theory based on the living space into the urban space environment, and discuss in depth from the urban form, the nature of the city and the urban layout and living space. Finally, by comparing domestic and foreign cities in different periods of development characteristics, Xinxiang City in a continuous space-time transformation process research reveals the evolution of the living space characteristics and dynamic mechanism is to be explored novel research topics.Secondly, this paper reviews historical development course of urban residential space in Xinxiang city, and finds that the fast expansion of urban residential space has something to do with national strategic principles and policies of urban government. At the same time, influenced by the economic system transition, the traditional "system of unit" mode of urban residential space is broken gradually, and it enters a period of reconstructing and segregation. In addition, because of the transition of urban planning thought, urban spatial structure is developing from"single centre assembling type"to"many centres disperse shape".Based on GIS Technology,the paper puts forth effort to analyze the current situation characteristic and segregation phenomenon of urban residential space. Though it is the major development trend of urban residential space that the city is developing towards its center at present, suburbanization phenomenon of urban residential space is already becoming outstanding day by day, for instance, most housing projectes concentrate on urban periphery area recently. Promoted by paid utilization of land and privatized house,because of the difference of public economic income, urban residential space in Xinxiang city already presents residential segregation:middle-and-high-ranking housing centres in key district and edge district, and the low-grade housing is distributed on periphery area of old city, traditional industrial area and edge district in Xinxiang city.Finally, On the basis of the theory of New Urbanism, t pointes out that national investment strategy and policy of urban government and the fast developing urban economy lead toincreasing continuously of urban residential space, and urban development strategy and planning thought are influencing the shape transformation of urban residential space, and moreover, the transition of economic system, the restructuring of economic structure, the turn of housing supply market and the transfering and selecting behavior of public housing cause the restructuring and segregation of urban residential space. As reacting force factor of urban residential space, natural resource environment plays a limiting and restraining role, and by making the best use of the situation, it can be created as the harmonious fine living environment of human and nature. Then the paper prospects the development trend of urban residential space in Xinxiang city in the future.
