In recent years, applying crop itself resistance to control pest damage has become one of new focus of crop resistance. In this experiment, maize treated by inorganic fertilizer or biocontrol agents to explore the chemical change of maize cells and resistant-related gene activation, revealing inorganic fertilizer or biocontrol agents induced resistance of maize plants in vivo. The main results are as follows:1. Zinc sulfate could increase PAL and PPO activity of inbred U8112, but no evident change on both PAL and PPO activity in susceptible inbred Mo17.2. The expression levels of pathogenesis-related protein PR-1 and PR-2a gene are up-regulated rapidly but no evident change of regulatory factors MPI and LOX genes, which are as regulatory genes and marker genes of the JA signal pathway while corn inbreds treated with zinc sulfate. Zinc sulfate could evidently regulate TPS gene but there are the same expression peak in both resistant and susceptible corn inbredst except that the level of resistant inbred regulated is strongger than that of susceptible inbred. The expression level of FPS, ACS genes are less affected by Zinc sulfate, but resistance signaling pathway in host plant is complex which involved in the delivery of many factors and regulatory factors, meanwhile there is certain synergistic or antagonistic relationship among them.3. After Zinc sulfate treatment, expression levels of DIMBOA synthesis related genes Bx1, Bx9, Bx7C gene rapidly increase, suggesting the DIMBOA biosynthesis gene by zinc sulfate induced rapid synthesis of maize resistance to Pythium root rot. Bx1, Bx7C in inbred lines with expression of two genes is induced, but later expressed, low expression, expression peaks and more disease-resistant lines later.4. Match all the S28 and Y2 Seed Coating Formulation does have a role of enhance PAL and PPO activity levels in U8112 and Mo17.
