The cold is one of the most universal stressor in northern animal,which is animportant factor to restrict northern swine farming development leading to the directand indirect economic loss. The cold stress responded the physiological mechanisminvolves all organizations and the organ nearly, and adipose is the athletic tissue incold stress. When organism under certain cold stress condition,the fatty tissue displaysthe self-control action fully in order to adapt the environment change,certain bloodphysiology biochemistry and the endocrine index in fatty tissue can have changed.The Fasting-Induced Adipose Factor (FIAF, ANGPTL4, PGAR, HFARP) waspreviously identified as a novel adipocytokine that was upregulated by fasting, byPPAR agonists and by hypoxia. Peroxisome proliferrator activated receptorγ2(PPARγ2) is a cell transcription factor and has an important role on inducing cellulaadiposa to gene expression and cellular differentiation.The samples of the adipose layer in the neck and bosom, adipose of abdominalcavity, liver of pigs were obtained at2h after the temperature of5±2℃,0±2℃,-5±2℃,-10±2℃,21±2℃(the control) to measure FIAF, PPARγ2gene expression.mRNA expression was measured by the method of the real time PCR and the proteinwas measured by western blotting.The result showed that in all the groups, mRNA and protein of the adipose layer inthe neck and bosom, adipose of abdominal cavity,liver of pigs were of significantdifference (P<0.01). It is concluded that FIAF, PPARγ2is sensitive to cold stress,regulating the balance of adipose. This objectives are to reveal regulation rules ofFIAF, PPARγ2on the adipose metabolism and liver of pigs during cold stress, andprovide the experimental foundation and theoretical support to study the effect of coldstress on animal and improve the pork quality.
