The aim of present study was to explore the immune efficacy of DNA vaccineswhich were developed based on grass carp reovirus(GCRV) outer capsid vp6gene. Theexperimental grass carps were divided into three groups, and each fish was injected withrecombinant plasmids at doses of10μg,30μg,60μg or30μg pFastBacTMDualr.Antibody titers were determined regularly after injection, and mortality rates andimmunoprotective effect were calculated after being challenged. The results showed thatantibodies were induced. The antibody titer of10μg recombinant plasmid injectiongroup was1:4~1:16,30μg injection group1:4~1:16,60μg injection group1:8~1:32. The peak of titer appeared on28thday. Protective rate was100%、100%and95%respectively. In contrast,pFastBacTMDual group and control was just70%and0%. Allresults suggested that the vaccines constructed had preferred protection efficiency. Therefore, the study has provided important academic foundation for the developmentand application of the GCRV DNA vaccine.
