Using Cattle horn pepper(Capsicum annuum L.), to study the effect of organic fertilizers on fruit yield, quality and respiration characteristics of pepper in the vinylhouse, it can provide theoretical basis for sustained development of vinylhouse, rules of carbon emission, management, production of efficient and high quality of pepper. The results show that:1. Eeffects of different kinds of organic fertilizers on the yield of pepperApplying the pig manure with straw and chicken manure with straw, the economic output of pepper of were highest, were and the yield of91.8%、93.5%more than that no fertilizer. Organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizer take second place, and the yield of organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizer were33.2%and47.6%, more than that no fertilizer, but there was no obvious difference between organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizer. The dry weight of the aboveground part of the pepper shows as follow:chicken manure+straw>pig manure+straw>sheep manure>pig manure> cattle dung>chicken manure>chemical fertilizer>control, appling chicken manure with straw and pig manure with straw were significantly higher than other treatments. The dry weight of roots increased rapidly by applying organic fertilizer. It shows as follow:pig manure+straw>chicken manure+straw>sheep manure>pig manure>chicken manure> cattle dung>chemical fertilizer>control. The root shoot ratio of organic fertilizer was higher than chemical fertilizer and no-fertilizer. The Root shoot ratio of chicken manure with straw and pig manure with straw were0.189and0.197, were significantly higher than other organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizer. The total biological yield of chicken manure with straw and pig manure with straw were significantly higher than other organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizer.2. Eeffects of different kinds of organic fertilizers on the quality of pepperFruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight, fruit shape index showed the tendency of decreased first, ascend later and then increased during the whole growing period. The variation scope of fruit shape index of applying cattle dung was0.74, making sure the consistency of pepper products at fruiting stage. During fruiting stage, applying cattle dung and chemical fertilizer can significantly increased the content of Vc. At the prosperous and late period of pepper’s fruiting stage, soluble sugar, soluble protein were higher relatively by applying cattle dung. The percentage of capsaicinoids was higher by combined chicken manure and straw. The content of Vc, soluble sugar, soluble protein, capsaicinoids decided taste of pepper. Using cattle dung enhances the palatability of pepper and improves the nutritional quality.Pepper did not exceed the national nitrate criterion (432mg·kg-1). During fruiting stage, each treatments will result in different levels of nitrate accumulation, and the tendency of accumulation was similar, at the the same time, pepper’s nitrate content showed a ascending trend. At the early and prosperous period of pepper’s fruiting stage, chemical fertilizer and4organic fertilizers treatments caused nitrate accumulation in varying degrees organic fertilizers could decrease accumulation of nitrate, significantly, especially the variation scope of the cattle dung was22.72%-34.42%. But, finally, Nitrate content of the two treatments of combination of straw were higher than the two treatments of no straw, with the development of pepper, the growth rate of the nitrate content was accelerated, even more than chemical fertilizer treatment at the late period of pepper’s fruiting stage。3. The soil respiration characteristics in greenhouse grown pepper field under different organic fertilizersIn greenhouse trial, diurnal dynamic of soil respiration showed the tendency of decreased first, ascend later and then increased, soil respiration rate has taken on a Monthly dynamic and a diurnal dynamic with the growth of pepper. The application of organic fertilizer and organic fertilizer with straw enhanced the soil respiration, and organic fertilizer with straw is the highest.Under proper temperature, the responses of soil respiration to temperature were described using exponential equation in pepper field. The correlation coefficient was0.6, Q10was from1.64to1.89. The correlation coefficient of soil respiration in20cm soil to temperature and Q10are lowest. Applying pig manure, cattle dung, sheep manure and chicken manure, the correlation coefficient and Q10of soil respiration in5cm soil to temperature are highest, organic fertilizers with straw were highest in10cm.Soil respiration was significantly and positively correlated with organic matter, available potassium, very significantly and positively correlated with total nitrogen.Treatments of no fertilizer, chemical fertilizer and organic fertilizer showed carbon "sink". The intensity of carbon "sink" displayed as follow:combined pig manure and straw> combined chicken manure and straw> chemical fertilizers> pig manure> cattle dung> sheep manure> chicken manure> no fertilizer.
