The object of study in this experiment is one-year phyllostachys heterocycla(Phyllostachysedulis)seedlings,the sample will be treated using MAPK inhibitor PD98059and U0126and calciumsignaling inhibitor CPA and LaCl3in order to determine the following physiological and biochemicalindices of the said sample: ABA, hydrogen peroxide, MDA, proline, soluble protein and chlorophyllcontents, conductivity, protective enzyme activity, etc. These indices will be used in the research ofanalysing the influences and functions incurred by inhibitors upon physiological indices ofphyllostachys heterocycla under drought stress. The results of the experiment indicate that:1、 In drought treatment, significant changes are seen in the form and physiological indices ofphyllostachys heterocycla after2.5h of drought stress. Further changes are also seen in membranepermeability. Assaying the physiological indices of plant cell shows that malfunction happens to thecell.2、 PD98059and U0126are used to inhibit the pathway of MAPK, which results in a)downside changes in protective enzyme activity and chlorophyll content and b) upside changes inmembrane permeability and soluble protein content in the plant. Therefore, the following conclusionmay be drawn: MAPK’s improvement on the drought resistance of phyllostachys heterocycla may beconducted through controlling the activity of protective enzyme and MAPK pathway will participatein the signal transmission of soluble protein and the biosynthesis process of chlorophyll inphyllostachys heterocycla under drought stress.3、 PD98059and U0126are used to inhibit the pathway of MAPK, which results in significantreduction of ABA content in plant cell. Therefore, ABA content may be seen as the degree indicatorof damage incurred by drought stress on phyllostachys heterocycla.4、Pretreatment through MAPK inhibitor aggravate the influences of drought stress, whichindicates that in drought stress, ABA functions as a signal to protect the plant in the process ofanti-oxidation damage of lamina cell through MAPK cascade system. The MAPK cascade systemparticipates in the signal transmission pathway of ABA’s anti-oxidation damage of cells in droughtstress. 5、 The addition of calcium signal inhibitor is as effective as that of MAPK inhibitor and bothinhibitors work together to deepen the influences of drought stress. Whereas the variation tendenciesof hydrogen peroxide and proline are diametrically different, the results may be due to their inhibitionto each other.under drought stress, the use of inhibitors leads to MAPK cascade pathway is inhibited, thephysiological and biochemical indexes of bamboo produced marked change, show that MAPK indrought resistance of plants play a certain role.
