Creeping bentgrass has been widely used for establishment of sprots fields, courtyard and beautification of their long green periods, better salt tolerance and disease resistant. As the developing ecmomic and the missing plowland, salina areas are playing an important part, but the research on the salt tolerance in creeping bentgrass by antioxidant systerm hasnot been seed,so the trial studied the effcts of ascorbic acid on salt resistance and regulation mechanism in creeping bentgrass. The main results were as follows:1. The experiment was conducted to study the effect of salinization on the germination and growth physiological condition of creeping bentgrass. The results showed that a negative relationship between seedling growth and salt concentration was obtained. The shoot-root and seed germination rate did not decrease significantly in response to low salinity,It improved the antioxidant enzymes activity and improved the ASA and GSH content, reduced the MDA production. However, high concentrations of NaCl lead to detrimental effects on the growth of creeping bentgrass, but the roots of this plant were maintained normally. When go beyond the extension protect, shows obvious descence in germination rate and growth, obvious ascence in the MDA concent.2. With the material-Creeping Bentgrass, this article has studied influence of bentgrass sprout’s growth and physical signs by NaCl in different forced concentrations. The results show that low concentrations will be beneficial to the bentgrass’s root and stem growth. And as the forced concentration increased, and the forced time extended, the chlorophyll content will gradually reduce. What is more, the activity of antioxidase (SOD、POD、CAT) firstly increase, then decrease; the content of nonenzymic antioxidant (GSH、reduced ASA、MDA) will increase. In addition, the soluble protein content decrease firstly, then increase.3. The experiment was conducted to study the effect of ascorbic acid on the germination and growth physiological condition of creeping bentgrass under salt-stress. High concentrations of NaCl lead to detrimental effects on the growth of creeping bentgrass. The results showed that ascorbic acid improved the antioxidant enzymes activity and improved the ASA and GSH content, reduced the MDA production.lt improved the chlorophyll and carotenoid contents, and also improved the lawn salt resistance.4. The activity of SOD, POD, CAT enhanced and content of soluble protein and relative water increased when creeping bentgrass were treats with ascorbic acid. When the concentration was20mmol/L, the protection effect from salt-stress was best.
