Ecological Capacity Assessment Of Mangrove Wetlands Of Beibu Gulf In Guangxi

In order to make a quantitative analysis of ecological capacity changing of mangrove wetlands of Beibu gulf in Guangxi during the development of Beibu gulf economic zone. Zhenzhu bay、 Tieshan bay、Qinzhou bay and Lianzhou bay were choosed to study.The information of Remote Sensing Images in2004、2006、2008and2010were obtained by using RS and GIS techniques, Combine the state-space model of ecological capacity theory as well as the indicator system of ecological capacity assessment of mangrove wetlands. The ecological capacity was quantified and the developmental changing was analyzed. The correlation of ecological capacity of mangrove wetlands with the resources supply、ecosystem resilience、environmental torlerance and human activities potential of mangrove wetlands was analyzed.Results showed that the trend of ecological capacity of mangrove wetlands of Beibu gulf in Guangxi rised gradually. The ecological capacity of Zhenzhu bay、Tieshan bay and Qinzhou bay turned into loaded from full-loaded. But the ecological capacity of Lianzhou bay turned into loaded from over-loaded. Ecosystem resilience and human activities potential of mangrove wetlands of Beibu gulf in Guangxi improved gradually. Resources supply and environmental torlerance of mangrove wetlands of Beibu gulf in Guangxi declined gradually. Environmental torlerance was influenced by developing of Beibu gulf economic zone, But ecological capacity of mangrove wetlands was not influenced directly by developing of Beibu gulf economic zone. The human activities potential is the key factor determined the ecological capacity of mangrove wetlands, while the resources supply is followed. Ecosystem resilience, environmental torlerance and resources capacity have not signifieantly correlations with ecological capacity of mangrove wetlands.Finally, this study make recommendations to the sustainable development of mangrove ecosystem in Beibu gulf according to the results of correlation analysis, mainly considering human activities...
