Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var.bortytis L) evolves from cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) and belongs to cruciferae. Cauliflower was introduced into south China in1800s. Since1800s. Because of shorter history of cultivation, Cauliflower resources in China are finite that lead to the limited genetic variation. With the development of cauliflower breeding, It is becoming more and more important to study of cauliflower genetic variation.Morphological characters are studied at the original research of cauliflower germplasms, but this method is affected by environment. The difference of morphological characters is not a true and objective reflection of the genetic relationship between materials. With the development of molecular markers, various marker techniques have been applied to cauliflower germplasm resources.but in the repoeted study that only use10to15materials and most of them come from China. In this study, both morphological and molecular markers are used in genetic diversity and relationship study of78cauliflower accessions which include24domestic accessions and54foreign accessions. The major conclusions are(1)20morphological characters are studied which include2plant characters,11leaf characters,6curd characters and1flower character. For qualitative characters are assignmented accogding to cauliflower’s DUS,Using clustering method analysis of the result. According to result of cluster analysis by morphological characters, All accessions are divided into five groups at0.3and maturity plays an important role in the classification. The78cauliflower accessions have rivh genetic variation,The genetic distance of78accessions was1.0to0.23.(2)SSR and Indel markersare used in this study.17pairs of SSR and19pairs of InDel primers are polymorphism that are selected from240pairs primers. These markers cover all the cabbage chromosome.The36pairs primers are used in genetic diversity study According to the result of cluster analysis by17pairs of SSR and19pairs of InDel,AIl accessions are divided into five groups at0.63. The genetic distance of78accessions was1.0to0.46. All accessions have rich genetic variation too. All accessions are divided into four groups by population structure analysis. The population structure analysis shows that the introgression exist among different germplasm. Maturity and geographic origin have a significant correlation in the classification of groups. Some domestic late-maturing type germplasms have the similary genetic background. The results of cluster analysis quite similar to the result of cluster analysis.(3) The relationship of13main self-line is analyzed,The genetic distance was1.0to0.6,The4th and5th have greater genetic distance,They are parents of a good hybrid.(4) The conclusion of the study indicate that the78cauliflower accessions have rivh genetic variation. The genetic distance of foreign accessions was0.87to0.46and the genetic distance of dometic accessions was1.0to0.81which indicate the genetic variation in China is narrow. To enrich our country’s germplasm resources. It is important that enhance the collection of germplasm resources.
