Due to the common response of human disturbance and natural disasters, the Xiaoxing’anling forest has a large area of low-quality forest. In order to make low-quality forest to restore its original forest structure and function, research on the recovery effect of transformation of low-quality forest is very necessary. Observing transformation effects’ tendency of low-quality forest timely can not only provide theoretical basis for the transformation of low-quality forest, but also give reasonable reference value to establish scientific forest exploitation plans and forest management measures.For fully analyzing the effect of different transform model of low-quality forest, we set harvesting operations test plots in Ma Yongshun forest and Land preparation method test sample in the red forest and Weidong forest. In Ma Yongshun forest, we do research on the effect of harvesting operations on biodiversity and updated seedling growth condition, as well as from multiple indicator based on principal component evaluation mode of screening of low-quality forest improvement model evaluation of low-quality forest restoration in the pros and cons of the modified model of clear-cutting operations. In the red forest and Weidong forest, we do research on the effect of land preparation method on the plant bio-diversity. The main findings are as follow:Better harvesting mode of transformation of recovering biodiversity of low-quality forest is the vertical clear cutting transformation mode with bandwidth of10m, horizontal clear cutting transformation mode with the width of8m and cutting transformation mode with logging intensity of41%. Short time Land preparation method has no obvious effect on the biological diversity of low-quality tree layers and shrub layers; Removing the turf sub has less negative impact than the dark hole on biological diversity of the herbaceous layer change. Some nursery stocks has better grow condition in the clear cutting, such as red pine grow within the bandwidth of the10m level clear cutting, followed by growth in the gaps with an area of150m2and225m2; spruce bandwidth growth within the6m to8m vertical clear-cutting; better with the growth of larch in the bandwidth of the15m level. Clear cutting modified model evaluation results, the highest level of clear cutting the evaluation of the modified model, vertical clear-cutting transformation mode, followed by evaluation of the lowest value of the forest windows transform mode; in the level of clear-cutting transformation mode, the bandwidth of10m at the transformation of the best, the effect of reconstruction of the other bandwidth in order for bandwidth6m at better than the bandwidth of15m to8m at better than the bandwidth; vertical the clear cutting transformation mode, the vertical band bandwidth of6m at the effect of reconstruction of the most good effect of the transformation of other bandwidth for bandwidth in turn better than the bandwidth of8m at the bandwidth of better than15m at10m; in the gaps of the transformation model, the gaps of an area of25m2at the effect of reconstruction was significantly better than the other area gaps.
