Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is one of the globally spreading pathogen, which could cause severe diseses in brassica and affect the yield and quality of crop. Mycoviruses are viruses that infect fungi and have the potential to control fungal diseases. In this study, the strain JX-A4, which is separated form Jiangxi Province, was selected as the research material. Two dsRNAs were extracted from JX-A4. Choose one dsRNA which named SsRV-M-JXA4, observation on the biological characteristics. cDNA cloning was performed with random primers and the result is:The genome of SsRV-M-JXA4is8017nt, coding for RdRp and an unknown protein. The strain of,JX-A4was found to have no significant difference in growth, colony morphology, the formation of sclerotia and pathogenicity with other normal strains of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. JX-A4and Ep-1PNA367-Hyg were dual cultured and isolation with the SsRV-M-JXA4indicates that these inheritance factors are removable and affective, and it could result in virulence recession of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.
