Global climate change in small-scale study is carried out by the reaction of theecosystem, especially biological factors. As the data of tree-ring has the features of years ofaccurate, high continuity, fine resolution and easy access to get a copy, the informationwe got on tree-ring is relatively accurate and reliable. Therefore tree-ring analysis becomesan important means for the research on small-scale environmental change and ecosystemimpacts. This thesis takes the Pinus tabulaeformis,Platycladus orientalis and Quercusacutissima of Culai Mountain as samples. Take the number of cores in line with InternationalStandard of rings library at different attitudes and site conditions. Then make use of tree ringanalyzer to measure the width of annual rings of trees samples. After combined with themeteorological data,do the analysis on the relationship between the width of tree-ring andtemperature as well as precipitation. Through this analysis, we can compare the degree ofresponse for the tree kinds of trees to temperature as well as precipitation at different attitude. Finally we will be able to get the relationship between the width of tree-ring andmeteorological factor so as to provide reference on appropriate tree replacement. After doing the core testing on Pinus tabulaeformis、Platycladus orientalis Quercusacutissima,we mainly get the following conclusions:1As for the research on the response of the three kinds of trees to temperature andprecipitation,we get the result that compared with temperature, precipitation has greatercorrelation.2The same species which are growing in different aspects and altitudes were analyzed andcompared. The results show that Pinus tabulaeformis is in little response to the temperatureand precipitation from central elevation, however, response well for high altitude and sunnyslope. Quercus acutissima from sunny slope has better correlation than those from shadyslope. Platycladus orientalis response the best at200-400m of sunny slope, worst at400-600m.3After the research for the different species growing in different aspects and altitudes, wecan get a summary.(1)The Pinus tabulaeformis that grow at an altitude of600-800m havehigh correlation with tempreture and are suitable to grow in the sunny slope. At an altitude of 400-600m, the Pinus tabulaeformis respond non-significant with tempreture andprecipitation;at an altitude of200-400m, compared with temreture, the Pinus tabulaeformishave better response with precipitation and are suitable to grow in the shady slope.(2)TheQuercus acutissima growing at an altitude of600-800m, have high correlation withprecipitation and are suitable to grow in the shady slope.(3)The Platycladus orientalis at thealtitude of200-400m and400-600m are not highly relevant with tempreture and precipitation. In comparison, the Platycladus orientalis grow better at200-400m.Through this research,we can find the limiting factor about the growth of Pinustabulaeformis Platycladus orientalis and Quercus acutissima from Culai Mountain. It gives usa certain amount of reference on appropriate tree replacement.
