The rapid expansion of Spartina alterniflora in estuarine wetland has brought great threat to the coast salt marshes. Therefore, many control measures had been taken to eliminate the spread of S.alterniflora. The development of controlling Spartina alterniflora also makes some effects on the sediment of wetland. By comparing the contents of organic carbon、total nitrogen、Total phosphorus、available nitrogen、available phosphorus、available potassium、chloride ions and sulfate ions,we eximineed the effects of controlling S. alterniflora on the soil. The results indicated:(1) By compare the content of organic carbon、organic carbon density and organic carbon storage under different control measures, the results showed:When the S. alterniflora wetlands was mowed and abandoned for3years later, the average soil organic carbon content reduced.but, organic carbon density content and rganic carbon storage were not changed.By other control measures, the content of organic carbon、organic carbon density and organic carbon storage were also not changed.(2) By compare the content of total nitrogen and total phosphorus under different control measures, the results showed:mowed+abandoned for3years、mowed+Waterflood-ing+planted caused the decrease of total nitrogen and total phosphorus. By other control measures, the content of total nitrogen and total phosphorus were not changed.(3) By compare the content of ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen under different control measures, the results showed:mowed+tidal aquaculture led the content of ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen to reduce. Mowed+abandoned for3years also caused the reduce of ammonium nitrogen.but, the content of nitrate nitrogen was not changed. By other control measures, the content of ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen were also not changed.(4) By compare the content of available phosphorus under different control measures, the results showed:mowed+waterflooding+planted、mowed+abandoned for3years caused the decrease of available phosphorus. By other control measures, the content of available phosphorus was also not changed.(5) By compare the content of available potassium under different control measures, the results showed:mowed+tidal aquaculture caused the rise of available potassium. By other control measures, the content of available potassium were also not changed.(6) By compare the content of chloride ions under different control measures, the results showed:mowed+waterflooding+planted caused the decrease of chloride ions. By other control measures, the content of available phosphorus was also not changed.(7) By compare the content of sulfate ions under different control measures, the results showed:mowed+waterflooding+planted caused significantly increased of sulfate ions. But, mowed+abandoned for3years caused significantly decreased of sulfate ions.By other control measures, the content of sulfate ions were not changed.
