The experiment was conducted to study the effects of different riboflavin (vitaminB2, VB2) levels on growth performance and biochemical indexes of growing ducks (5-11weeks old) reared in cages.Total2164-week-old and similar weight (0.27±0.01) kg Jinding laying ducks were adapted unifactor model which randomly allotted into six groups, each group contained six circulation, each circulation contained six ducks who were fed with added0,4,6,10,20,50mg/kg VB2respectively and analysised weight by variance, no obvious difference(.P>0.05).Such experimental period would last7weeks.During the experiment, the ducks were weighted in the5th weeks,7th weeks,9th weeks and11th weeks, recoveryed and weighted surplus feed, calculated ADG,ADFI and FCR. At the end of the11th weeks, one was randomly taken out and taken blood from wing vein, and randomly killed to take out the spleen, bursa and fabricius for mensuration, after taken blood, separated serum and put into the icebox at-20℃for preservationThe results of feeding experiment showed that compared with the control group, the average daily gain(ADG) of laying duck increased conspicuously owing to add10mg/kg VB2(P<0.05)meanwhile, feed:gain(F:G) decreased significantly(P<0.05), however, it had no significant influence on feed conversion ratio(FCR) diets. With regard to the total in the FCR, it is increased firstly and then decreased. So, it is inhibition to the growth of ducks in the higher or lower level of VB2.The result of antioxidant index results showed that, as elevated levels of VB2,it had significant effect on the activities of T-AOC,SOD,GSH-Px and MDA in serum and liver total antioxidant capacity(P<0.05),at first, it is increased and then decreased of each antioxidant index, however, it is inhibition to the growth of ducks in the higher or lower level of VB2,the optimum addition is10mg/kg. Compared with the control group, as the elevated of VB2, it is decreased firstly and then increased in the antioxidant index of MDA, and reached the minimum level at the addition of10mg/kg, it is significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05). To summarize, it can increase antioxidant capacity and decrease MDA, and it is inhibition to the antioxidant capacity of ducks in the higher or lower level of VB2. The results of immunoserologic indexes experiment showed that different level of VB2had significant effect on serum immunoglobulin(IgA,IgM))(P<0.05), compared with the control group, the immunoglobulin(IgA,IgM)) of laying duck increased conspicuously owing to add10mg/kg VB2(.P<0.05).It had no significant influence on the serum immunoglobulin(IgG)) and inrerleukin-2(.P>0.05), With regard to the total in both of them, it is increased firstly and then decreased, and reached the maximum level at the addition of10mg/kg. Compared with the control group, the ABL of laying duck increased conspicuously owing to add10~20mg/kg VB2(P<0.05), and reached the maximum level at the addition of1Omg/kg. It had no significant influence on the TP(P>0.05), with regard to the total in TP, it is increased firstly and then decreased, and reached the maximum level at the addition of10mg/kg. To summarize, it can improve immunologic competence. The results of hormone experiment showed that, as elevated levels of VB2, compared with the control group, the concentration of GH and Ins increased conspicuously owing to add10and20mg/kg VB2(P<0.05). It had no significant influence on the T3and T4(P>0.05), With regard to the total in both of them, it is increased firstly and then decreased, and reached the minimum level at the addition of10mg/kg. the concentration of control group is the minimum. The results of the biochemical parameters showed that, as elevated levels of VB2,the concentration of CHO,BUN and CLU is decreased significantly(P<0.05), it had no significant influence on the TG(P>0.05), it is decreased firstly and then increased, and reached the minimum level at the addition of10mg/kg. Compared with the control group, the concentration of LDH is decreased significantly(P<0.05), and reached the minimum level at the addition of10mg/kg. It had no significant influence on ALP(P>0.05), it is increased firstly and then decreased. The results of slaughter results showed that the spleen index and bursa of fabricius index were raised diversely compared with control group(P<0.05), there were no significant difference among thymus index, it presented to be rose at first, then decreased with the kickpoint at10mg/kg VB2(P>0.05).According to growth, serum biochemical indexes, slaughter experiment and the immunity indexes variety analysis of the same term, it could improve the antioxidant capacity, immunologic competence and growth performance when adding10mg/kg VB2to daily diet. To summarize, the optimal VB2supplementation of laying ducks (5-11weeks old) reared in cages is10mg/kg.
