With a high carbon density and huge amount of carbon storage in vegetation and soil in wetlands, wetland ecosystem is an important organic carbon pool on the earth. The carbon cycle of wetland soil plays an important role in the global atmospheric carbon balance and global climate change. Effects of different flooding depth and nutrient management on carbon stocks of wetland soil were studied in a bunch of typical wetlands in Sanjiang Plain, aiming at to form a optimized mode of flooding and nutrient management to increase carbon stock of wetland, make good use of the potential of CO2emission reduction and contribute to a pattern for wetland protection and recovery. Carbon sequestration capacity of wetland plants and soil is very important to the environment protection of our country, and also helps with the fulfilling of international conventions.Effects of different nutrient management on carbon pool and carbon storage of marsh wetland in Sanjiang plain was studied with lobular camphor as the typical plant, fertilizer recommendation and ways to increase carbon stocks of lobules wetland soil were studied as well. Results of detection on soil carbon storage, organic carbon, soluble organic carbon, granular organic carbon showed that treatment with N rate of40kg/hm2with in situ facilities of lobular camphor combined with P and K rate of30kg/hm2and25kg/hm2, respectively increased soil organic matter quantity and the time required to balance, which resulted in a significant increase of soil organic carbon content and carbon storage. Results of detection on available NPK of the treatment metioned above showed that it significantly improved soil physicochemical property. Plant growth, nutrient management and accumulation of soil carbon storage were promoted by this treatment, and it also helps to study the structure, function, protection and sustainable use of typical wetlands as well.Effects of different flooding on carbon accumulation of marsh wetland in Sanjiang plain was studied with lobular camphor as the typical plant. Results of detection on physicochemical and biological properties of the soil showed that treatment with40cm flooding got the best effect. It is beneficial to accumulation of soil carbon pools, increase of soil organic carbon and improvement of soil physicochemical properties.
