With the development of urbanization, the area of urban land isdramatically decreasing, especially agricultural land. Therefore, developingmodern agriculture is imperative to raise agricultural output per unit of land.At present, the flat land has been better used to facilitate the development, but complex terrain and fragmented plots of land urgently develop. In thisstudy, uneven, fragmented land of33000m2in Lan Jiang, Yuyao City, wasexploited for protected agriculture, and the design and application of fourkinds of heteromorphous structural greenhouses were analyzed and evaluated as the cases. Results showed that the application effect of designedheteromorphous structural greenhouses was generally successful according tothe local conditions.First of all, the land utilization rate greatly increased. This project hasplayed an exemplary role;Second, the cost of heteromorphous structural greenhouses was low. Rawmaterials were obtained more easily due to the possible use of some steelscrap. It was more suitable for the enterprises that have weaker funds, andeven farmers can also develop protected agriculture through the constructionof heteromorphous structural greenhouses;Third, the net returns of this project were from5000to8000yuan per667m2according to a five-year depreciation period, excluding the costs oflabor, fertilizer, pesticides, seeds, seedlings and so on, which was higher thanin open system of cultivation;Fourth, as the view of cut flowers, strelitzia was a worthy variety. Thefield management of strelitzia was simple, fewer pests and diseases occurred, and it can tolerate high temperature of around40°C. Strelitzia reginae did notyet enter the flowering stage, but they have had a good harvest. Therefore, itcan be expected that the yield will be better after two years (Strelitzia reginaegrows about7years until the flowering stage. In this study, Strelitzia reginae grew for5years). During the Spring Festival, the rose flowering needs tohave a high temperature (12-20°C) in the greenhouse. This research projectcan not achieve this average temperature in winter, so the income of variety isin poor condition.
