Urban ecological construction is based on human ecological civilizationand the ecological and cultural awakening, a reflection of the traditionalindustrialization and urbanization. Greenbelt as an important part ofShanghai’s urban ecological construction, the main body of the green space toplay in improving environmental quality, enhance the image of the city cannot be underestimated. Ecological construction to achieve the goal ofsustainable urban development, the greenbelt in urban ecologicalconstruction process will occupy an important position. The basiccomposition of a single plant community as a greenbelt.Is the basis of theecological functions of urban green space system, therefore, the study ofplant community structure is of great significance for sustainable urbandevelopment and construction of ecological city.Greenbelt (Nanhui segment) was founded in1998, is divided into twoconstruction of100m forest, invested by the government, the communitystructure is more reasonable, the richness and diversity of the species is moreabundant, the second phase of400m forest rent prepare seedlings by social corporate investment and construction, community structure is relativelyhomogeneous, mainly evergreen woodlots and deciduous woodlots,ecological special project to be implemented on pre-construction400m forest,from forest’s ecological attributes, social attributes, and three aspects of theeconomic attributes of a clear functional positioning, structural adjustment.In this paper, the actual work on the existing greenbelt (Nanhuisegments), select40quadrats forest survey, summarizes the characteristics ofthe of Nanhui segments artificial plant communities, community types andspecies composition of communities divided and in accordance with the plantclassification system for the needle leaf forest, evergreen and deciduousbroad-leaved mixed forest, evergreen broadleaf forest, deciduousbroad-leaved forest four kinds of types. From the viability of the plantcommunities and the relative frequency, diversity and uniformity analysis,found that the Nanhui segments artificial plant community structure isrelatively homogeneous, especially in the range400m forest areas, mostlyevergreen privet forest, camphor mainly deciduous forest, Du Yinglinmeaning Yang Lin, the Qingtong Lin, Chung Yeung lumber, etc., due toplanting density, almost no understory space, plant growth potential ordinaryweak, post-conservation management difficult. Due to fewer plant varieties,the lack of shrub layer and herb layer, the seasonal variation is not obvious, ornamental degrees poor.Based on the investigation, the functional orientation of the combinationof forest, developed a greenbelt (Nanhui segments) Tree Care growth statusof grading standards, the establishment of of Nanhui segments artificial plantcommunities comprehensive evaluation system, using quantitative andqualitative combination method of artificial plant communities on thegreenbelt (Nanhui segment) were analyzed and evaluated from the number ofspecies of plant communities, community structure, health status, seasonalvariation, spatial pattern, ornamental characteristics, input in the construction,maintenance and management of ten evaluation, the evaluation results, dividethe focus of the transformation into moderate transformation of mildtransformation, without transformation of the four grades. At the same time,the combination of the greenbelt functional orientation proposed to increasethe richness of community the greenbelt transformation process, adjusting thedensity of seedlings planted; follow the natural succession rules to build amulti-level, low maintenance plant communities; improve the communitystructure, building trees, shrubs, herbaceous layer composite communitystructure of a number of recommendations.
