The forest not only is the important natural resources,but also is important safeguard for some environment issue of the global greenhouse effect and the ecological unbalance,meanwhile the forest is important foundation for the ecological safety and human sustainable development.but the express of function depends on the health degree of the forest,the health forest can express the function maximum. And the health can afford the guarantee for the ecological safety and human sustainable development. And the health can afford the guarantee for the ecological safety and human sustainable development.This paper as the ecology and statistics’s theory for the foundation, combine the sample survey and forestry station survey,building the index system for the forest health evaluation and the forest health warning.according to set44monitoring sample,monitoring the basic information,according to the forest health assess mode,assess all the sample’ health; as the results of survey for the funndation,refer to the foundation surveying of study area,use the artificial Beural networks,assess the health of large scale forest,and through the results of the forest health, building the forest warning’s indexs,combined with the foundation data of the forest small classes,division the different level for the forest of Xin JiangThis paper refer to the research results at home and abroad,builded about the forest ecological system health assessment,and these are four aspects,one is the vigour index; two is the structure index; three is the soil index; and the last is the resistance index.this paper first establish44different sample plot,and then according to the results of the survey,assess the health about the different sample plot,use the artificial Beuralnet works building the model of health forecast,and then use model assessing the forest health about the study area,conduct the scale conversion.the study area include1247sample plot,the area of study is34291.41hm2。Among them,the area of quality forest is5602.81hm2, occupy16%; the health forest is14933.88hm2, occupy44%; sub health forest is9858.7hm2, occupy29%; no health forest is3896.01hm2, pccupy11%, in general the study show the good.Refer to the results of the forest health, confirm the index of the forest health warning, according to the sample survey,and as these for the training set,check out the precision rate of the model. Use this model assessing the forest health warnging,the results show that the area of no warning forest is5002.82hm2, accounting for15%; the area of slight warning forest15533.88hm2, accounting for45%; middle warning has9858.7hm2, accounting for29%; heavy warning has3896.01hm2, accounting for11%; in general the study sample show the slight warning, need the less artificial intervention.
