The Pathogen Of Sunflower Verticillum Wilt And Resistance Of Sunflower Varieties In The Northern Xinjiang

In recent years, the sunflower Verticillium wilt has become a serious disease in China. In2010, the samples with systemic sunflower Verticillium wilt symple were collected from different sunflower areas of the northern Xinjiang. Pathogen was identificated base on morphology characteristic and biological character; the biological characteristics and pathogenicty of the pathogens were studied and the pathogenicity test were carried out in different varieties, so that it could estabalish a base for resistance breeds and control.The identification results of pathogen show that the main pathogen of sunflower verticillium wilt are Vdahliae and V.Sulphurellum in Xinjiang.The results of biological characteristics shows that two kinds of pathogens all have stronger pathogenicity to sunflower. Two kinds of pathogen can all grow from10℃to30℃, and the optimal growth temperature is at25℃. The dadly temperature is at52℃; The growth cycle(from condia to condia) of pathogen is about10d. V. sulphurellum can grow in pH5.1～11.1and V. dahliae all can grow in pH4.1～11.1on PSA; OMA is the optimal medium for Vdahliae, And CMA is optimal medium for V.Sulphurellum.Pathogenicity test results shows that two kinds of pathogens can all cause sunflower significant disease under inoculation, and V. dahliae is more stronger than V. sulphurellum in pathogenicity. The pathogenicity is different among different strains of same pathogen. The same strains exited difference in different sunflower varieties. The compare pathogenic strength among these strains is VdCJ001>VsALT1002> VsALT1003> VdC J003> VdC J002> Vs ALT1001.Resistance results of sunflower varieties shows that:1. The field resistance differential exited to Verticillum wilt among sunflower varieties and lacked resistance varieties in present.2. The resistance of same sunflower varieties to sunflower Verticillum wilt have certain differential in different growth period, and resistance of different sunflowers varieties to sunflower Verticillum wilt have also certain differential in different growth period.
