Lily is referred to the genus Lilium, is a perennial bulbous flowers in the world within a wide range of use in cut flowers, potted plants, greening, edible plants, use in medicinal and others. As cut flowers, lily is favored by consumers for its flowers pattens and colors, and the good moral meanings in recent years, so it’s ranking high in cut flower market, increasing its economic value and living in a very important position in China’s flower industry. Although there are many wild species of Lilium in China, lily breeding research falls far behind foreign countries, especially Netherlands.After the year of2000, LA,OT,OA hybrid series polyploid in lily breeding is the main direction, the planting area of LA, OT hybrid lily growing in a very fast way. Also, the existing research shows that distant hybridization of F1diploid lily though the most of them are male sterility, but still can be used as female parent with appropriate bred male parent. Which allodiploid produced2n gametes spontaneously or artificially induced, it can be directly use as female parents with the right male parent and produced triploid hybrid. This study selected a diploid OT lily as a female, and Oriental lily group ’Sorbonne’, trumpet lily groups ’minjiang lily’ as male parent. The results are as follows:1. Distant hybridization F1OT hybrid lily10-OT-06(’Ovatie’) is male sterility. Diploid Oriental lily10-O-002(’Sorbonne’) and diploid trumpet lily series (’minjiang lily’) are male fertile.2. Show that distant hybridization F1OT hybrid lily male sterility10-OT-06(’Ovatie ’), but still can be used as female parent and choose the right male to hybrid.3. Combinations of100535(OTx TT) is a triploid, there are12O chromosomes,24T 4. chromosomes. There are a pair of chromosomes exchange. Combinations100514(OTxOO), is a aneuploid, and several of them have recombination between the chromosomes, total chromosome number is35, that is including24O chromosomes; the number of T chromosomes is8, respectively; and Restructuring chromosome number is3. According to offspring ploidy level and chromosome number we can be proved that in the combinations of100535, its female parent10--06OT (’Ovatie’) induced FDR2n female gametes spontaneously.
