The ber fruit fly is an important exotic insect that is obligate to infect jujube plants, and the larva bores into and eats the flesh of jujube fruits. Making sure instars had great significance for the control of occasion and predict forecast. Research has shown the cephalopharyngeal skeleton length partly overlap between1and2instars through determined the indicator of mouth hook length and cephalopharyngeal skeleton length and used statistical regression analysis by least square method. The mouth hook length showed distinct difference with instars, so it was an indicator to class instars. The relationship of instars and mouth hook length is y=0.058x-0.011through F test. Research has shown the mouth hook length from instars1to3was:(0.0539±0.00063)mm、(0.0982±0.00109)mm、(0.1675±0.00296)mm.There are great differences among oviposition、rate of hatch、natural life of Jujube fruit flies which are raised by different feed. A、B、C three artificial diets ingredients are honey、casein acids hydrolysate and sucrose、yeast extract powder and sucrose. By contrast with three kinds of feeding results, it shows that click group average fecundity of jujube fruit fly fed by Feed C can reach (116.33±6.73) eggs and exists significant difference with artificial Diets A、B; Artificial Diets C has the highest rate of hatch(86.13±1.31)%, but the difference is not obvious; Artificial Diets C’s natural life is128days which is longer than A’s95days and B’s108days. The target is almost satisfactory when artificial Diets C is used to feed jujube fruit fly. About86.3%eclosion of the ber fruit fly is mainly concentrated in3hours at8~11o’clock, the peak time occurrs around10o’clock. The eclosion process may be divided into seven stages: cracking shell and coming up、crawling、before the expanding wings、the expanding wings、after the expanding wings、flying、adult. The female ber fruit fly is attached to male’body when mating, it lasts about (309±8.46) min, the peak time occurs at11~12o’clock and20~21o’clock. Oviposition consists of four stage:orientation、puncture、ovulation and ending, with average time (8.20±0.51)min, the peak time of oviposition appears at about12o’clock and17o’clock, the most daily fecundity reaches16eggs, average fecundity ranges from6eggs to9eggs, each oviposition aperture can contain1-6eggs. The developmental threshold temperature and the effective accumulated temperature for Carpomya vesuviana Costa were calculated on20,23,26,29,32℃. The result showed that developmental zero and accumulated temperature of pupae were6.38℃and357.17day-degree; The developmental zero and accumulated temperature of egg were13.75℃and48.18day-degree; The developmental zero and accumulated temperature of egg to pupae were8.78℃and283.29day-degree. The developmental zero and accumulated temperature of larva were6.39℃and245.61day-degree that was reckoned.The ber fruit fly like to oviposit on the shade and bottom of jujube through study on oviposition preference, The oviposition aperture appear the symptoms of hollow and ump-like shape. It was showed that different varieties of jujube own different ovipositional selection, The heart-shaped jujube and the jun-jujube less harmed then pear jujube、 Ziziphus jujuba、xiangjujube.It ovipositional selection decrease as the extent of the damage increase. The ber fruit fly harmed to the jujube differ in size, the medium-sized jujube is more hurtful than others. It ovipositional selection decrease as the maturing stage of the jujube increase. The ber fruit fly no select to oviposit on full maturity. The jujube is more hurtful than others and existed significant difference on oviposition preference for jujube、Beijing flowering crab、apricot、tomato、 grape. The jujube and apricot not existed significant difference but existed significant difference with others on Oviposition preference for different species of host by force. The ber fruit can pupate and eclose through the apricot.
