The resistance of non-system infected tobacco (N.glutinosa)inoculated TMV induced by novel chitooligosaccharides derivatives were investigated.The best agents of chitooligosaccharides Schiff base was screened out, the regulatoryeffect of the best agents to the content of chlorophyll and the activities of defenseenzymes in system infected tobacco (Yuyan5th) plants inoculated TMV were studied.The results showed that:1. The inhibitory effect of chitooligosaccharides Schiff bases to TMV was investigated.The order of inhibitory effect screened out on N.glutinosa by lesion numbers method was3,5-dichloro-salicylaldehyde chitooligosaccharides Schiff base>5-bromo-salicylaldehydechitooligosaccharides Schiff base>5-chloro-salicylaldehyde chitooligosaccharides Schiffbase>5-nitro-salicylaldehyde chitooligosaccharides Schiff base> salicylaldehydechitooligosaccharides Schiff base, and the best agent was3,5-dichloro-salicylaldehydechitooligosaccharides Schiff base, whose inhibitory effect reached73.29%±5.33%higher compared with control,11.8%higher compared with Ningnanmycin.2. The effect of chitooligosaccharides Schiff base to the content of chlorophyll ofinnoculated Yuyan5th leaves was researched. The result showed that: The contents ofchlorophyll a, b and carotene on infected Yuyan5th treated by3,5-dichloro-salicylaldehyde chitooligosaccharides Schiff base under pot conditionwas significantly increased96.37%,118%and36.5%compared with inoculatedcontrol respectively,70.98%,67.2%and44.8%higher compared withchitooligosaccharides respectively,69.35%,67.2%and19.9%higher comparedwith Ningnanmycin respectively.3. The effect of chitooligosaccharides Schiff base to the activities of defense enzymeof innoculated Yuyan5th leaves was researched. The experiments showed that: TheSOD, CAT and POD activities of the treatment by3,5-dichloro-salicylaldehydechitooligosaccharides Schiff base under pot condition was significantly improved58.2%,138%and121%compared with the inoculated control respectively.12.4%,243%and15.6%higher compared with chitooligosaccharides respectively,9.29%, 20.8%and11.2%higher compared with Ningnanmycin respectively. The PAL andPPO activities of the treatment by3,5-dichloro-salicylaldehyde chitooligosaccharidesSchiff base under pot condition was significantly improved30.2%and171%compared with the inoculated control respectively,50.3%and81.7%highercompared with chitooligosaccharides respectively,16.7%and0.85%higher comparedwith Ningnanmycin respectively.4. The preventive effect of chitooligosaccharides derivatives to TMV on Zhongyan100in field experiments was investigated. The anti-TMV effects of5novelchitooligosaccharides Schiff base phosphonates with different substituents wereinvestigated, and the best agent was5-bromosalicylaldehyde chitooligosaccharidesSchiff base phosphonate, whose preventive effect of the inhibition rate reached68.46%compared with the control,168%higher compared withchitooligosaccharides,1.33%higher compared with Ningnanmycin.5. In a short, chitooligosaccharides Schiff bases and chitooligosaccharides Schiff basesphosphonates not only showed good preventive effect on TMV, but also showed goodeffect to the agronomic characters, and there were no bad effect to the quality of curedleaves and the aroma components, the injury was not visible to naked eye underexperiments condition.
