Soil erosion is one of the most severe environmental problems today and Chinais one of the most serious soil erosion countries in the world. Many scholars havestudied the theories and mechanism of soil erosion from1960’s. With thedevelopment of computer technique, combined GIS with RS to study soil erosionhas been the advanced filed in researching soil erosion quantificationally.Usingnucleus tracer technique to quantificationally research soil erosion has unsubstitutedadvantage, such as exactness, speediness, precision, and so on.Now more and moreresearchers become to pay attention to them.Based on the field survey of Buha river watershed, we selected14typical soilsampling points, the conclusions of analysis are as follows.1.The range of137Cs content is from0.00Bq·m-2to1794.04Bq·m-2,their are alllower than the reference inventory, showed that this is a whole erosion area.2. The vegetation coverage is a very important factor to affects137Cs content, thebigger the vegetation coverage is, the more the content is.3. Using predecessors’ soil erosion model, got the soil erosion modulus is rangefrom191.94t·km-2·a-1to1094.04t·km-2·a-1, from west to east, along with the loweringelevation, the modulus increased.4.According to the standards of the Ministry of Water Resources, the most areabelongs to the area of mild erosion, and less area belongs to tiny and middle intensityof erosion, and in some areas the erosion has been very serious that needs to behighly noticed..
