Sesame belonging to Pedaliaceae Sesamum, is one of China’s major oil as its rich quality dimension antibiotics, amino acids, proteins and fatty acids, widely grown in China’s Huang-Huai River basin, has a long cultivation history. Sesame during growth vulnerable to the infection of a variety of diseases, stem rot is one of the most serious disease, and its pathogen host widely adaptable, prone to disease epidemics. Existing varieties of sesame rarely resistance to stem rot, and few agents effective against it.The purpose of this study:Electing identification quickly and accurately inoculation method of sesame resistance, by using five inoculation methods; Screening out the strong resistance of the varieties of sesame germplasm, by identifying144and447sesame germplasm resources in two years; Preliminary study on the inheritance of sesame resistance to stem rot by identificating and analyzing the resistance of the two parents and their hybrids; By analyzing the control effect for sesame stem rot of four kinds of pharmaceutical mixing formula, selecting better pharmaceutical and formulations. Achieved the following results:1. Using5inoculation methods at sesame early flowering, the results show that smearing inoculation method could effectively and accurately identify the resistance to Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) of sesame.2. This study evaluated the resistance to Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi) of144and447sesame varieties, there were3highly resistant varieties,17moderately resistant varieties,105susceptible varieties,19highly susceptible varieties in2011; there were8highly resistant varieties,38moderately resistant varieties,309susceptible varieties,92highly susceptible varieties in2012.3. By analyzing the genetic of the resistance to Macrophomina phaseolina (Tassi), the resistance of jiangma to67strains is controlled by one significant and one hidden independent genes.4. Using4fungicides and their mixing formula preven and control to the stem rot, the results show that25%azoxystrobin (Amistar)+3‰KH2PO4.29%mixture of 25%carbendazim and4%jinggangmycin+3%o KH2PO4,25%azoxy strobin (amistar),29%mixture of25%azoxystrobin and4%Jinggangmycin, controlling effect in more than60%, their control effect all were are more than60%.
