As the increase of pesticide resistance,the biological control to greenhouse whitefly become the world focus,and Amblyseius swirskii has become a research hotspot.Arnblyseius swirskii(Anthias-Henriot)(Acari:Phytoseiidae:Phytoseius) is an important natural enemy of many kinds of pest,and have good applied prospects,but the large-scale rearing technology should to be resolved.Study on the rearing of Tyrophgus putrescentiae on different diets;the key rearing technology of Amblyseius swirskii;the predatory functional response of Amblyseius swirskii to Trialeurods vaporaiorum.The research aims to provide technical support for commercial production ofAmblyseius swirskii.The majior resultes are as follows:1.Rearing of Tyrophgus putrescentiaeStudy on the rearing of Tyrophgus putrescentiae by four foods,under the condition(25±2℃,80±5%,L8:D16).Inoculalated twenty five pairs Tyrophgus putrescentiae to the 250mL conical flask,when using wheat germ,rice bran,floor, small wheat bran for food for 30 days,the density of Tyrophgusputrescentiae reach to 7665.00±91.17,364.50±13.7,189.50±8.58 and112.25±8.21 per gram.wheat germ is significantly different with other foods(P<0.01).Because wheat germ is comparely expensive,so we choose rice bran as the major food.adding wheat germ and other foods(yeast,glucose,predatory mite artificial diet,rape pollen et.al).After 40 days, the highest density can reach to about 6000 per gram.The successful foods can mass rear Tyrophgus putrescentiae.2.Rearing of Amblyseius swirskiiStudy on the relation between the reproduction speed and inoculative numbers,. the results show that the larger insects,the greater amount of breeding.When the inoculative numbers ofAmblyseius swirski is 200,the highest density is 157.75±3.90 per gram,is no siginifcant different with inoculating 400(168.50±4.11),so inoculating 200 is enough.For the rearing containers,inoculating 200 Amblyseius swirskii,the density of Amblyseius swirskii in the 500mL conical flask,250mL conicial flask,500mL tea box reach to 154.75±3.95,130.00±3.76,123.75±4.21 per gram after 40 days,so 500mL conical flask is the best.The reproduction speed will fall as the increase of the food weight.When the food weight is 30g,60g,90g,the density of Amblyseius swirskii are 161.75±3.97, 151.5±3.38,126.50±2.72 per gram after 40 days.30g and 60g are no siginifcant different,so 60g is the best.When the propotion of wheat bran and vermiculite is 1:1,the highest density is 157.75±3.20 per gram,is siginifcant different with 4:6(133.75±2.50) and 6:4 (138.50±3.10),so the best is the propotion of wheat bran and vermiculite with 1:1.Study on the reproduction ofAmblyseius swirskii with four different contents of rape pollen,the results show that the larger content of rape pollen,the faster propagation.The density of Amblyseius swirskiiwith the food including 1/10 rape pollen(159.25±4.21) and 1/15(153.00±3.49) is no siginifcant different,but is siginifcant different with the food including 1/30 rape pollen(135.50±3.71) and no rape pollen(125.00±3.14),so the food including 1/15 rape pollen ie the best.For inoculating Tyrophagus putrescentiae one time or two,regardless of whether feed containing rape pollen,on the propagation of Amblyseius swirskii do not show significant differences.So inoculative times of Tyrophagus putrescentiae have no siginifcant effection to the propagate of Amblyseius swirskii.3.The predatory functional response of Amblyseius swirskii to Trialeurods vaporaiorumStudy on the functional response of Amblyseius swirskii to eggs and first instar larvae of Trialeurods vaporaiorum under the artificial climate box(25±2℃,80±5%, L16:D8).The results showed the functional responses of Amblyseius swirskii to eggs and 1st instar larvae of Trialeurods vaporaiorum can be described the HollingⅡfuctional response type.The maximal theoretical predation numbers of female adult of Amblyseius swirskii to to eggs and 1st instar larvae of Trialeurods vaporaiorum were 23.51,15.87 per day respectively.So Amblyseius swirskii have strong predatory ability to the Trialeurods vaporaiorum.
