The marine sponge is one of the most abundant source of biological activity compounds, itcontains a large number of novel structure compounds which has a strong biological activity, such as terpenes, alkaloids, sterols, peptides, macrolide and other types. In order to furtherexplore the chemical constituents and its physiological activity, this paper deal with the speciesundetermined marine sponge which live in South China Sea to study its chemical constituents.By various chromatographic techniques, physicchemical properties, spectroscopic analyses anddocument indexing, thirteen compounds were obtained and their structures were determined tobe: p-hydroxybenzoic acid(1), cetanic acid (2),2-undecanamidoethyl henicosanoate(3),2-unde-canamidoethyl tricosanoate(4),2-tridecanamidoethyl tricosanoate(5),2-pentacanamidoethyl tri-cosannate(6), batyl alcohol (7), cety ethers of glycerol (8),(E)-N-2-(1,3-dihydroxy octadecan-4-en)-hexade-camide(9), thymidine(10), cyclo-(L-Tyr-L-Pro)(11), phenyl acetylamine(12),uracil(13),4-hydroxybenzamide(14). Compound3~6had never been reported in previousliterarures.
