Objective The study aim is to explore the hereditary susceptibility of people todevelop CAD through studying the relationship between apoE gene polymorphisms inpatients With CAD and serum lipids in QingHai area.Methods Using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphismmethod, selecting60patients with coronary artery disease patients, all above patientsby angiographically demonstrated1blood vessel diameter narrowed more than50%,Excluding liver and kidney damage, cerebral infarction and thyroid disease, andfamilial hypercholesterolemia person.50cases of control group is the same period forhospital by angiographically ruled out the coronary artery disease (exclude disease ofheart and head blood-vessel, liver, kidney, endocrine on lipid metabolism disease),27cases of men and23cases of women, ages for32-80years old, an average of57. Allour people live in qinghai region. Conventional acquisite two groups of venous blood,EDTA anticoagulation, keep in-70degrees storage in refrigerator and detect unified,polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism methoddeterminate apoE gene polymorphism. Results A significant difference was found in CAD group and the control group.there is significantly differrent in gene E3/4、E3/3phenotype distribution in coronaryartery disease and control group (P <0.05), The proportion of E3/4genetypes in CADgroup were significantly higher than those control group, and the control group hashigher proportion in E3/3genetype than CAD group, the rest phenotypes have nosignificance (P>0.05). we divide apoE phenotypes in CAD group, and thendeterminate serum lipids in every phenotype, E3/4、E4/4genotypes compare E3/3genetype, the serum level of TG in E3/4、E4/4genotypes increased more obviously (P<0.05), the proportion of E3/4genetype in CAD group is higher than control group,the proportion of E3/3genotype in the control group is higher than CAD group (P <0.05).(p <0.05)。Conclusion E4(E3/4and E4/4) allele is probably the genetic marker of CAD inQinghai.ApoE gene affects the CAD maybe through influence of serum lipids.
