【Objective】Explore the expression of chitinase in invasive fungal patients, aswell as whether the relative expression levels are different.【Methods】By fluorescence quantitative PCR (RQ-PCR), detected the expressionof chitinase gene CHIA,CHID1and CHIT1in a sample of patients (N=22)with invasive fungal disease (IFD) of G or GM test positive and in asample of patients(N=25) with suspected invasive fungal disease (IFD) ofG and GM test negative from Fujian Medical University Affiliated UnionHospital.【Results】The relative expression levels of mRNA in chitinase gene CHIA andCHID1with G or GM test positive are higher than patients with negative, and the relative expression levels of mRNA in chitinase gene CHIT1ofinvasive fungal infections in patients have no difference.【Conclusion】The relative expression levels of Chitinase gene CHIA, CHID1mRNA inG or GM-positive invasive fungal infection patients are higher thanpatients with negative, indicating that the mononuclear cells in patientswith G or GM test positive can degrade the invasive fungal cell wall better, leading to the release of cell wall components, such as the (1,3)-beta-Dglucan and galactomannan, inducing the production of antibodies toanti-fungal, and CHIT1gene may not be necessary in Anti-fungalinfections.
