The Study Of The Relationship Between HbA1c And Urinary Albumin To Bone Mineral Density Changes In Patients With Type2Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract/Summary:
[Objective]Observation of blood glucose level,HbA1c and24h-urinary albumin to identifytheir relations to bone mineral density changes in patients with type2diabetesmellitus.[Methods]Choose82cases of patients with type2diabetes between45and75years oldfrom Jan.2009to Jan.2011,and20cases of normal persons were randomized as acontrol group,glucose,HbA1c,24h-urinary albumin, the bone mineral density(BMD)at the lumbar spine and the femoral neck and some other biochemical parameterswere measured. Patients with diabetes were divided into GroupⅠHbA1c<7%,GroupⅠA AER<300mg/24h,Group ⅠB AER>300mg/24h;GroupⅡHbA1c>7%,Group ⅡA AER<300mg/24h,Group ⅡB AER>300mg/24h.[Results]Compared with control group, BMD of the group of Type2Diabetes mellitusdecreased significantly (P<0.05). BMD at the femoral neck in diabetes group ⅡBwas significantly lower than that in group ⅠA, group ⅠB and group ⅡA (P<0.05).[Conclusions]BMD significantly lowers in patients with Type2Diabetes mellitus than incontrols, BMD of patients with unfulfilled blood sugar control and elevated AERdecreased the most significantly than others.
