Objective: To discuss the effec of two different rebuild on glucose metabolism inpatients with gastric cancer comp licated with type2diabetesmellitus (T2DM).Methods: The retrograde analysis was made in106cases of gastric cancer with type2diabetes from2006to2011of Fujian Medical University. These patients were dividedinto two groups,distal gastrectomy with BillrothⅠanastomosis (n=22),distalgastrectomy with BillrothⅡanastomosis (n=84). The levels of fast blood glucose、cholesterol and glycated hemoglobin were detected in patients before,after3monthsand6months operation in two groups. The therapeutic regime for T2DM after theoperation was also analyzed.Results: The group of Billroth I gastrectomy each index has no significant changeafter three months and six months of postoperative. And the group of Billroth Ⅱgastrectomy each index has obvious change after three months and six months ofpostoperative.Conclusion: Billroth Ⅱ gastrectomy is effective for type2diabetesmellitus inpatients with gastric cancer.
