Objective:With the purpose to determine a more advanced method in the treatment of low rectal cancer patients, which was based on the comparison between the laparoscopic dixon surgery and laparoscopic miles surgery.Methods:60cases of low rectal cancer patients had been selected, and30of them underwent laparoscopic dixon surgery, the rest of them underwent laparoscopic miles surgery. Subsequently, indicators from these two groups were collected such as general surgery items, residual cancer number, intraoperative dissection lymph node number, postoperative complications, postoperative urinary function, sexual function, tumor recurrence rate, mortality rate, and comparative analysis was done. Results:These two groups indicators had been compared, including general surgery items, residual cancer number, intraoperative dissection lymph node number, postoperative complications, tumor recurrence rate, and mortality rate. There was no significant difference between them (P>0.05); By contrast, in the comparison of postoperative urinary function, sexual function, there was significant difference between these two groups (P<0.05), The result of the laparoscopic dixon surgery group showed better than that of the miles group. Conclusions:As long as laparoscopic dixon surgery is executed in a proper way to ensure the distal bowel resection length and avoid the any anastomotic leakage, the laparoscopic dixon surgery can achieve the same tumor radical effect as laparoscopic miles surgery in the treatment of low rectal cancer patients, what is more, it has better protection on urinary function, sexual functional protection, and it has smaller influence on physiology and psychology.lt is a valuable surgery method to be promoted.
