Aim:the study is to learn about related factors of leukopenia,after patients with hyperthyroidism with the first treatment of Methimazole.Method:Collected clinical data of our hospital209the first treated cases of patients with hyperthyroidism with treatment of Methimazole between January2006to December2011, observed basis of leukopenia, duration of treatment, body mass index, history of drug allergy, learn about Relationship between these factors and leucopenia.Result:this study of209cases, the58cases of patients with treatment of Methimazole, the Level of the blood Leukocyte was declined, the other151cases, the Level of the blood Leukocyte was normal.As a result of related factors by statistics,the Incidence of leukopenia were no significant difference in groups by basis of leukopenia, as well as groups by age, compared by history of drug allergy.The groups by duration or the initial dose or body mass index, the results implied the the Incidence of leukopenia were significant difference between groups.Conclusion:the study imped Methimazole can decline Level of the blood Leukocyte, especially occurred in taking the medicine after one to three months.Through comparaing by groups of different dose, the groups were significant difference, the result Prompted the initial dose of Methimazole influence the Level of Leukocyte in patients with hyperthyroidism。At the same time, the groups of different body mass index were significant difference, these implied the Correlation between body mass index and leukopenia, after patients with hyperthyroidism with the first treatment of Methimazole.
