The provalence rate of low-vision were54.6%, and49.8%for suspect-myopia. In the students of low-vision.,91.2%were suspect-myopia.2.The prevalence rate of low-vision in girls (58.1%) were higher than that of boys (51.1%)(P<0.001). The prevalence rate of suspect-myopia in girls (53.3%) was higher than the rate in boys (46.2%)(P<0.001). The difference of the prevalence rate of varying degrees of low-vision for the girls were not statistically significant. 3.The prevalence rate from high to low for low-vision and suspect-myopia of the students were senior school (81.7%、77.8%),junior high school (63.1%、58.0%) and primary school (32.4%、27.2%)(P<0.001). The prevalence rate of varying degrees low-vision showed that the degree of low-vision changed with increasing of age. The prevalence rate of low-vision and suspect-myopia upward gradually with increasing of age in different age groups of boys and girls, and girl of each age group of the prevalence rate is higher than boys. The eyelight degrees of low-vision in different age groups of boys and girls decreased gradually with increasing age, the moderate showed that the highest rate was in15age group, and declined to both sides gradually, severe degree trend to rise quickly with increasing of age.4.The prevalence rate of low-vision was higher in the urban (63.3%) than that in rural(46.3%)(P<0.001).The prevalence rate of low-vision was diffent in regions of different economic level. The prevalence rate of low-vision were higher in Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Puyang than that in Kaifeng. The varying degrees rates of low-vision were different in the regions of different economic levels(P<0.001).The prevalence rate of suspect-myopia were lower in the rural (41.9%) than that in urban (57.9%)(P <0.001).The prevalence rate of suspect-myopia was also different in different economic level.5.The age groups that there were statistical significance in the prevalence rate of suspect-myopia compared with the developmemt level of the stature to the7to18-year-old boys were there of7-15year-old boys. The age groups that there were statistical significance in the prevalence rate of suspect-myopia compared with the developmemt level of the stature to the girls were there of8-14year-old girls.Conclusion1.The prevalence rate of low-vision and suspect-myopia were in a higher level for the students in Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Puyang, Kaifeng city of Henan Province, and had also a difference in the sex, urban and rural, learning stage, and regional. The range of the difference was biger little by little with the increase of age.2.There exit different prevalence rate of suspect-myopia for the different level of stature to the students in period of puberty, and the age groups which were differences in the prevalence rate between the girls and boys were also in the period of puberty mainly.
